Novak and Bayraktar discuss creation of gas hub

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak discussed cooperation in the oil, gas, coal, electric power, and nuclear industries with Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, Report informs via Russian media.

"The discussion covered the creation of a gas hub, conditions for supplying Russian energy resources to the Turkish market, and the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant," the Russian government said in a statement.
"The engine of Türkiye's economy is industry, which cannot develop without stable supplies of energy resources and electricity production. Russia has been and remains a reliable supplier of gas, oil, and other natural resources to the Turkish market," Novak noted.
