From March 14, the Japanese automaker Nissan will for three weeks suspend the production of cars at a plant in St. Petersburg due to interruptions in the supply of components, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti that the press service of the company said.
"Due to interruptions in the supply of components, the Nissan plant in St. Petersburg suspends production from March 14 for 3 weeks. At the same time, shipments of new cars to Nissan dealerships continue," the automaker said.
The Nissan plant in St. Petersburg has been operating since 2009, its production capacity is 100,000 vehicles per year.
