Nikolai Patrushev has been appointed assistant to the President of Russia, Report informs, citing the Kremlin.

Dmitry Peskov retained the position of press secretary of the president and the post of deputy head of the presidential administration.

Meanwhile, Maxim Oreshkin was promoted from assistant to the president to deputy head of the Russian Presidential Administration.
