New chief appointed to Intelligence Department of Armenian Army 

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has issued an order to dismiss Major General Arakel Martikyan, Chief of the Intelligence Department of the Armed Forces General Staff, Report informs, referring to Aysor.

Major General Araik Harutyunyan has been appointed as the Deputy-Chief of General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces and Chief of the Intelligence Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. Araik Harutyunyan was the 2nd Army Corps Commander.

Upon the presidential order, Vagram Grigoryan was appointed as the 2nd Army Corps Commander.

The new appointments were proposed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
