NATO ambassadors discuss situation on Ukrainian-Russian border

NATO ambassadors to Ukraine have gathered urgently to discuss tensions on the Ukrainian-Russian border, Report informs, citing Reuters.
A NATO spokesman said Russia was undermining peace efforts in eastern Ukraine: "Russia's destabilizing actions are threatening efforts to reduce tensions."
It was stressed that the allies shared their concerns about Russia's recent large-scale military activities in and around Ukraine:
"Member countries are also concerned about Russia's violation of the ceasefire imposed by the agreement reached in July 2020 with the death of four Ukrainian servicemen last week."
Russia has deployed 58 tactical battalions on the border with Ukraine.
