Municipal chairman detained on terrorism charges in Türkiye

Ahmet Ozer, the Esenyurt municipal chairman of the opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) in Türkiye, has been detained as part of a terrorism investigation, Report informs, citing the local press.

Searches were reportedly conducted at his home and workplace.
