MP: Rising tensions in Ukraine caused by lack of Western support for Türkiye's initiatives

The reason for the growing tension in Ukraine is the lack of support from Western countries, the representative of the Turkish ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Omer Celik said at a press conference, Report informs via Haber Global.

He noted that hypersonic missiles are already being used in Ukraine.

Nevertheless, according to Celik, Western countries do not sufficiently support the diplomatic initiatives of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to end the Russian-Ukrainian war.

"If increased support had been provided, today we would not have a war on a global scale on our agenda, but other issues," the politician noted.
