Moscow backs regional development format 3+3 - Spokesperson

"We support the idea of creating a consultative regional mechanism 3+3 put forward by the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing, the Russian bureau of Report says.

"The development of multilateral regional cooperation meets the interests of all prospective participants in this format," Zakharova said.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the time has come to translate the plans to create the 3+3 platform into a practical plane.
