Foreign media have recently published articles about the possible consequences for Kazakhstan for exceeding oil production within the OPEC+ agreement, including exclusion from the agreement. The Energy Ministry of Kazakhstan commented on the news interpreting "a possible adjustment of the level of oil production in the country as a result of external pressure."

"The ministry categorically denies such statements. The Republic of Kazakhstan confirms its commitment to the OPEC+ agreement and will continue to fulfill all its obligations," the ministry noted.
