Türkiye plays a central part in all areas, said Nureddin Nebati, Minister of Finance and Treasury of the country, Report informs via Anadolu.
According to him, important events took place in Türkiye during the last month: “In addition, the ceremony of delivering nuclear fuel to the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) will take place. The NPP can meet 90% of Istanbul’s energy demand. It will operate for 60 years. We are proud that the Turks carried out the main works in the building we constructed together with Russia. When we were looking for natural gas in the Black Sea, they said, ‘Why are you doing that?’ In general, they were skeptical that we would produce natural gas. However, now 70% of the available energy is imported. In addition, the longing of our citizens is over with the locally produced Togg car.”
The minister said that Türkiye's success does not end only with natural gas and car production: “This month we also launched the IMECE satellite into space and it will function properly.”
