Minister: Russia especially focuses on eastern Ukraine

“We see that Russia is especially focused on the east of Ukraine. There is a long-running war in Mariupol. In addition to the military on both sides, there is the Azov group on the Ukrainian side, as well as fighters from different regions. Therefore, control is complicated. Despite the statements of both sides, the issue of humanitarian corridors did not realize,” Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said in an interview with NTV, Report informs.

“There are many civilians, as well as many wounded servicemen. We have received proposals in this direction. We said that if a corridor was opened over the sea, we would be able to evacuate civilians and wounded servicemen,” The Foreign Minister stressed.
