Minister: Azerbaijan, Türkiye strengthen justice cooperation

Azerbaijan and Türkiye are enhancing their cooperation in the field of justice, Turkish Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc told journalists as part of his visit to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The minister emphasized, “The strength of Türkiye is the strength of Azerbaijan, and the strength of Azerbaijan is the strength of Türkiye.”

“Under the motto ‘One nation, two states,’ the friendly relations between our countries continue to develop. Today, we will discuss various issues related to fair punishment and justice, and a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed.”

Yilmaz also mentioned that meetings with the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan, Inam Karimov, and the Prosecutor General, Kamran Aliyev, are planned during the two-day visit.
