Minister: All major fires in Turkey extinguished

"Owing to the forest heroes, we took control of the forest fires raging in Mugla-Koycegiz from July 28. Thus, we have contained all major fires," Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli said, Report informs.
The forest fires that broke out in Turkey on July 28 have affected 46 provinces. Eight people and many animals died, while thousands were displaced as a result of wildfires. Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Russia, Iran, the United States, the European Union extended their helping hand to Turkey in extinguishing the fires.
