Minister: 88% of forest fires in Turkiye related to human factor

Some 88% of forest fires in Turkiye are related to the human factor, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkiye Vahit Kirisci told journalists, Report informs.

“The fire can be caused intentionally or by negligence. The Ministry of the Interior is conducting inspections. But we advise the public to be careful. No one can guarantee that forest fires won’t happen again,” he said.
