Military airfields in Russia tested for resistance to massive attacks

Exercises were held in several Russian regions in which military airfields were tested for resistance to massive strikes, Report informs referring to Izvestia newspaper citing sources in the Ministry of Defense.

The maneuvers, in particular, took place in regions in the southern and western strategic directions.

During the exercises, the military worked on restoring airfields after massive attacks: they sealed craters, rebuilt runways and caponiers.
