Baku. 8 November. REPORT.AZ/ A mass protest rally on the 11th anniversary of November 7, 2007 events was staged at Rustaveli avenue in the center of Tbilisi.

According to Report's Georgian bureau, the action under the slogan 'We remember November 7' was organized by the 'No to Nazism' movement.

It involved the parents of the children killed in period of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili's term, people and youth who suffered and who now protest against revival of Nazism.

The rally participants first gathered in front of the Opera and Ballet Theater. They urged the citizens to be active in the second round of the presidential election and say 'no' to Saakashvili's supporters.

They called on the Georgian people not to forget the November 7 events and noted that they will never allow the forces ruling at that time to regain power again.

The action also involved the chairman of the National Congress of Georgian Azerbaijanis Ali Babayev.

In his statement to Report he stressed the need to unite all citizens of Georgia, regardless of their nationality and to avert the repetition of events similar to those of November 7.
