Mikheil Saakashvili's health deteriorates

Imprisoned former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili's health has deteriorated, Report informs with reference to his letter to a group of independent doctors.
The politician said he felt pains in his body and could hardly walk. He asked the doctors for advice.
Doctors say Saakashvili's condition is serious. According to them, if the necessary treatment is not provided, the health of the former head of state may worsen.
Doctors suggested that the ex-president be hospitalized in a civilian hospital.
Saakashvili, who had been living in Ukraine, entered Georgia illegally on September 28 last year and was arrested on October 1 in Tbilisi. The ex-president is currently being held in Rustavi Prison No. 12.
