Mevlut Cavusoglu: 'Peace must be fair for Ukraine'

"The peace must be fair, especially for Ukraine. Because the lands of Ukraine are under occupation," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a press conference that he attended together with his Estonian counterpart Urmas Reinsalu in Tallinn, Report informs.

Cavusoglu noted that Turkiye is a supporter of a just peace: "We continue to support Ukraine. Now the situation is more complicated than before. Nevertheless, we will continue our efforts."

Reminding that Ukraine is currently under attack, the minister emphasized the importance of supporting this country's territorial integrity and sovereignty: "We have never accepted illegal annexation, including the occupation of Crimea. A just peace is the protection of the territorial integrity of Ukraine."
