Memory of Heydar Aliyev honored in Georgia

A commemoration ceremony in connection with the 99th birthday anniversary of Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev is being held in Georgia, Report’s Georgian bureau informs.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faiq Guliyev, military attaché, colonel-lieutenant Fuad Ibrahimov, chairman of the Union of Azerbaijani Businessmen of Georgia Nariman Gurbanov, employees of the embassy, ​​the office of the military attache and SOCAR Energy Georgia, Azerbaijani businessmen visited the bust of the national leader in the park named after Heydar Aliyev in Tbilisi and laid flowers to it.

The memory of the national leader will be honored in the city of Rustavi as well.

As part of the birth anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, on the initiative of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tbilisi, the Museum of Fine Arts of Georgia will open the exhibition “Road to the Future.” The exhibition, which will last until May 15, will be dedicated to the friendship between Heydar Aliyev and Eduard Shevardnadze.
