Meeting of allies in Rammstein-4 format kicks off

The fourth meeting of the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group (UDCG) began on Wednesday, July 20, the US Department of Defense said.

Report informs citing RBC-Ukraine that the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has already delivered an opening speech.

The defense ministers are meeting online this time.

Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that it was planned to announce new deliveries of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at Ramstein-4.

During the negotiations, the sides may also discuss issues that arise with logistics or making decisions on supplies.

In addition, new states may join the format.
