Massive missile attack on Ukraine: death toll reaches 19 - UPDATED

As a result of the Russian army's massive missile attack on Ukraine on December 29, 4 people died and 10 were injured in the country's Zaporizhzhia province, Yuri Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Military Regional Administration, wrote on Telegram.

With this, today the number of dead in Ukraine has reached 19.

According to him, several catering facilities, including educational institutions and hospitals, were also damaged.

A total of 158 air attacks were carried out on Ukraine over the past day, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zalujny, wrote on Telegram, Report informs.

He said that various provinces and cities of the country were attacked by missiles: "Russia attacked with various types of missiles and UAVs. 27 of the attacks were carried out with Shahed drones."

Russia has hit Ukrainian territory with Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and cruise missiles.
