Maryam Rajavi: National Council of Resistance is ready to replace government in Iran

"The National Council of Resistance of Iran is an alternative to the government of the Islamic Republic and can replace it," leader of the People's Mujahedin of Iran Maryam Rajavi said, Report informs via Tasnim.

She said that the latest protests in Iran were organized by the People's Mujahedin: "The People's Mujahedin organizes this movement at a high level with a network of organized rebellion centers. The National Council Resistance of Iran is an alternative to this regime."

The organization was previously based in Iraq. After the US entered this country, the People's Mujahedin left Iraq. The leaders and members of the organization operate in different European countries.
