Man arrested for throwing explosives at Vardenis police station

Armenian police detained a 58-year-old man who threw explosives at a police station in Vardenis, Report informs via local media.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated. The damage caused and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

There were reports of smoke from the gate of the specially protected area, after which an explosion was heard.

It turned out that an unknown man threw an explosive device at the entrance gate (the type has not yet been determined). The explosion caused damage to property.

The remains of an incendiary wick were found at the site.
