Main Intelligence Directorate: World will see Ukraine's first victory in August

The people of Ukraine will soon see the first victory in the fight against Russia, said Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.

According to Report, Budanov said it is necessary to correctly understand the importance of the turning point in the war: "I said earlier that in August, the whole world would see the first victory of Ukraine - the first turning point."

However, the Chief of Defense Intelligence refused to reveal the details:

"Now you want me to make all the plans public so that the enemy can read and prepare? Have you ever seen me make a mistake when I made a statement? So wait."

Budanov also stressed that Ukraine would take back its territories only by military means.

Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate stated that from August, Ukrainians will see the concrete results of the counter-attack in the occupied Kherson region.
