A magnitude 5 earthquake has jolted Almaty with the underground tremors palpable in Kyrgyzstan and China, Report informs via Kazakh media.
The epicenter was 37 km of Almaty, and 8 km of the Issyk-Kul district of Kyrgyzstan.
Residents of Almaty are leaving their homes as alert is being sounded.
