Lavrov names countries in Russia’s inner circle

Russia's inner circle includes Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Iran, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated during the annual press conference on the results of 2023, Report informs.
“If we are talking about our inner circle, then, of course, these are the countries of the Middle East: Iran, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar,” Lavrov said.
According to him, a particularly privileged strategic partnership with India is gradually developing.
The Russian Foreign Minister also noted that relations between Russia and China are experiencing their best period in history.
