Latvia plans to send first batch of drones to Ukraine soon

Latvia plans to send the first batch of domestically produced drones worth 1 million euros to Ukraine in the near future, Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina said at a press conference with her Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal, Report informs with reference to the Ukrainian media.
She noted that drones produced by Latvia were tested: "Our Ukrainian colleagues admitted that they are effective in combat."
Silina added that, in total, Latvia plans to allocate 9 million euros for the supply of drones to Ukraine in 2024.
