Large number of police officers deployed on Republic Square in Yerevan

A large number of police officers have been brought by buses and deployed on Republic Square in Yerevan in advance of the expected rally there as the organizers of the rally are preparing the stage for speeches, Report informs, citing News.am.
Earlier a spontaneous rally took place in Republic Square, during which there were clashes between the police and protesters. Police used stun grenades, dozens of people were injured.
