Kyrgyz president, Baykar Technology head discuss military-technical co-op

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov recently met with Selcuk Bayraktar, Board Chairman of the Turkish company Baykar Technology, to discuss enhancing military-technical partnerships and implementing joint defense projects, Report informs via Kyrgyz media.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz president, Japarov highlighted the importance of collaborating with international companies such as Baykar Technology to bolster the country’s defense capabilities, advance the national military-industrial complex, and enhance regional security.

Selcuk Bayraktar expressed the company’s readiness to expand cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. During the meeting, he presented President Japarov a model of the Akinci drone, featuring depictions of key moments from the Epic of Manas on its wings.

In recognition of his significant contributions to strengthening Kyrgyzstan’s defense capabilities and military potential, President Japarov awarded Bayraktar the Order of Dank.
