Kyrgyz military won't participate in CSTO exercises to be held in Tajikistan

The servicemen of the Kyrgyz Republic will not participate in the joint exercise Rubezh-2022 of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to be held in Tajikistan, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan said, Report informs, citing 24.kg.

According to the information, the ministry did not plan to participate in this military event from the beginning.

The military units of the states of the Central Asian region that are members of the CSTO, operational groups of the joint headquarters, and the CSTO Secretariat will participate in the exercises. It is planned that the total number of participants in the exercises in Tajikistan will be about 1,000 people and over 300 units of military and special equipment, including aircraft, helicopters, and UAVs.
