Kuwait becomes 28th participant of CICA summit

Kuwait has become the 28th participant of the summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said, Report informs, citing Kazakh media.

"In 1999, the council had 15 member states, and now their number has reached 27. This, in fact, indicates that the authority of the forum in the eyes of Asian countries and the world community as a whole has increased. We are very pleased that Kuwait has joined us as a member of the council," the Kazakh head of state said.
