Several things need to be done to ensure lasting peace in the region and the whole Euro-Atlantic area, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba told CNN, Report informs.
“What needs to be done to ensure lasting peace in the region and the whole Euro-Atlantic area? This question has two answers. First, Ukraine has to become a member of the EU and NATO. Second, Russia must change. This is the most intriguing debate that has to unfold about what to do with Russia,” he said.
According to the foreign minister, the Russians themselves should think about what needs to be changed in order to return to normal life.
“After all, sustainable peace will be possible when Russia ceases to be a threat,” Kuleba added.
