Kremlin: Russia never intended to conquer Ukraine

Russian President's assistant, Vladimir Medinsky, said that Russia never intended to conquer Ukraine, Report informs, citing TASS.
He said that the West and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy started full-scale military operations.
According to him, Moscow demanded that Kyivv renounce NATO membership in the negotiations held in the spring of 2022.
The president's assistant stressed that if Kyiv had signed a peace agreement with Moscow, it could have saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians: "Zelensky chose war."
