"Russia is not discussing the issue of deploying military in Afghanistan with Kabul," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Answering the question "Will Russia strengthen the border with Tajikistan?", Peskov said: "I cannot say anything about the deployment of additional contingents. Of course, this will depend on the course of events. Unfortunately, things are not going well. Our border guards will make necessary decisions."
