Proponents of a global conflict are influencing US decisions regarding Georgia, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said, Report informs.
Kobakhidze highlighted comments from Matthew Miller, Spokesperson for the US Department of State, who did not rule out additional measures concerning the “Foreign Agents” law in Georgia. Miller also referenced sanctions on members of Georgian Dream Party and the suspension of $95 million in aid.
“The global war faction has significant influence over certain structures, including the United States and, regrettably, the State Department,” Kobakhidze stated.
Regarding the $95 million, Kobakhidze expressed confusion: “We could not determine the nature of this money. We simply could not understand which $95 million was being referred to.”
Leaders of Georgian Dream claim that powerful politicians advocating for a global conflict are attempting to involve Georgia in foreign wars and open a “second front” against Russia.
