Khorunzhy: 5 regions of Ukraine attacked, critical infrastructure mainly affected

Presently, 171 rescuers and 57 pieces of equipment are working on the ground to eliminate the consequences of massive shelling by Russia, five regions of Ukraine were attacked, critical infrastructure was mainly damaged, spokesperson for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Khorunzhy told the Eastern European Bureau of Report commenting on the recent strikes on Kharkiv.

“In Kharkiv, as a result of Russian attacks, there is no power supply in some regions. Elimination of the consequences of shelling also continues in Odesa, Lviv, Kyiv regions and Zaporizhzhia.

The personnel and equipment of the State Emergency Service were brought in even from neighboring regions. Rescuers are ready to deploy powerful generators,” Khorunzhy said.

There were no casualties as a result of the strikes.

“Rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of terror attacks. All fires have either been localized or eliminated. Emergency rescue operations continue,” he added.
