Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei stated that the Islamic Republic does not need nuclear weapons and has no intention of producing them, according to Report.
"Today, we have a high level of uranium enrichment. Of course, countries that seek to develop nuclear weapons increase enrichment to 90%. Since we do not need such weapons and have decided to renounce nuclear arms, we have not raised it to that level. We have increased it to 60%, which is a very high and very good level, necessary to address certain challenges facing our country," he said during a televised address to the Iranian people.
