Khamenei supports Russia's actions in Ukraine

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said while receiving Russian President Vladimir Putin that he supports Russia's actions in Ukraine, Report informs, citing IRNA.
Emphasizing that the war is not a pleasant thing and ordinary people are suffering from it, the supreme leader of Iran also supported Russia's actions in Ukraine:
"In the case of Ukraine, if you (Russia - ed.) had not taken the initiative, the other side would have started a war against you."
In addition, Ali Khamenei noted that "Westerners are against a strong and independent Russia."
