Deputy Defense Minister of Kazakhstan Bakyt Kurmanbaev has died at age 50, Report says, citing country's Defense Ministry.
As reported by RIA Novosti, he died of COVID-19 on July 14.
Bakyt Kurmanbaev was appointed as Deputy Defense Minister in April 2019. He headed the military security and defense division of the Security Council before.
He was born on September 21, 1970, in Ust-Kamenogorsk. He was the father of 2 children.
