Kazakhstan's Air Astana may immediately suspend the air communication with Ukraine. It will fly to Kyiv by an alternative route, Report informs, citing the company's press service.
"Air Astana is closely watching the situation in Ukraine and may immediately halt the air communication between Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Given our compatriots in Kyiv who need to return to Kazakhstan and the Ukrainian citizens who are in Kazakhstan and need to get back home, Air Astana continues the flights between the two countries," the aviation carrier said in a statement.
The company plans flights with the technical stop in Atyrau and a later arrival in and departure from Kyiv.
The flight passengers will be notified about the updated schedule via SMS.
"The departure time from Almaty and Nursultan remains the same," the press service reports.
