Kazakhstan closes three checkpoints on border with Kyrgyzstan

Kazakhstan has closed three more checkpoints on the border with Kyrgyzstan.
Report informs citing TASS that this was reported by the Border Service of the Kyrgyz State Committee for National Security.
"Since January 7, 2022, the Kazakh side has unilaterally suspended the passage of persons, vehicles and goods through the checkpoints Kordai-Avtodorozhniy, Karasu- Avtodorozhniy and Kegen - Avtodorozhniy due to a malfunction of the Unified Information System," the message says.
For the same reason, two more checkpoints on the border with Kyrgyzstan were closed on Friday morning. So, at present, only two checkpoints operate on the Kazakh- Kyrgyz border.
