Iranian FM arrives in Armenia on working visit

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has arrived in Yerevan on a working visit, Report informs referring to Armenian media.

The plane of the Iranian foreign minister landed at Zvartnots airport.

Earlier, spokesperson for the Armenian Foreign Ministry Ani Badalyan announced that a meeting was planned with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.

According to Iranian media, Abdollahian intends to discuss ways to expand bilateral relations between Tehran and Yerevan in the fields of politics, economics and culture. He will also hold consultations on important issues related to the South Caucasus region in the 3+3 format.
