Iran plans to start car production in Armenia, Head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) Alireza Peyman-Pak said, Report informs via IRNA.
Peyman-Pak said that in the meeting with Narek Teryan, the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, they discussed issues related to the development of trade relations, alternative ways to transit goods, and joint production of household and electronic appliances.
Iran's desire to carry out automobile production in Armenia was also discussed in the meeting.
According to Alireza Peyman-Pak, Iran's trade representative will visit Yerevan in mid-October 2022 on the occasion of the opening of the Trade Center of the Islamic Republic in Armenia.
