Iran says expanding ties with Iraq remains priority

Expanding relations with Iraq will always be a priority for Iran.
Report informs that Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei wrote this on his X account.
Baghaei said they had arrived in Baghdad together with the Iranian foreign minister and would hold meetings with Iraqi officials, including the president, prime minister and foreign minister.
Iranian and Iraqi Foreign Ministers Abbas Araghchi and Fuad Hussein have met. The topics discussed have not yet been disclosed.
