Iran halts gas flow to Turkiye

Gas flow from the Iran-Turkiye Natural Gas Pipeline will be suspended between October 2 and 9 due to planned maintenance and repair works, Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Company (BOTAS) announced, Report informs.
BOTAS stated that no problem in gas markets is expected regarding the supply-demand balance due to the maintenance on the pipeline.
"Due to the planned maintenance and repair works to be carried out on the Iran-Turkiye Natural Gas Pipeline between October 2-9, natural gas will not be delivered to our transmission network from the Gurbulak entry point for eight days. During the planned maintenance and repair works, no problems are foreseen regarding the supply-demand balance in the national transmission network," BOTAS said.
