Iranian authorities have banned the import and use of Motorola mobile phones after a series of pager explosions rocked Lebanon.
Report informs via TASS that, the decision, announced by Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry, and Mining Mohammad Mehdi Baradaran just before his departure from office, also puts a stop to the sale of Motorola devices within Iran's borders.
According to the Digiato portal, numerous online retailers have already removed Motorola phones from their catalogs or marked them as "out of stock." The import ban also means that these devices cannot be registered within the country.
