Iran avalanche kills five mountaineers

A group of mountaineers were caught in an avalanche at the bottom of Mount Oshtoran Kuh in the Zagros Mountains in Lorestan Province on Thursday, five of them lost their lives, Report informs, citing Mehr News Agency.
A local medical official at Lorestan University of Medical Sciences said 9 mountain climbers went missing, while the bodies of five of them were discovered later and one was still missing under the avalanche. Three were found injured and transferred to the hospital.
