Irakli Garibashvili: We deservedly won EU candidate country status

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili addressed the citizens gathered in downtown Tbilisi to celebrate the nation's EU candidate status, Report informs, citing 1tv.ge.
“We fought, we worked hard, and we won together - the government and the people deservedly won EU candidate country status,” said the Georgian Prime Minister.
Garibashvili went on to say that “We went through a lot of trials, we encountered many difficulties on this path, but we walked this road with dignity and determination”.
“This historic victory belongs to you, our invincible, unbroken, proud, and freedom-loving Georgian people,” the Prime Minister asserted.
