Hulusi Akar: 'We are working on modernizing and equipping Azerbaijani Army'

"Our brotherhood with Azerbaijan will continue. Within the framework established by our esteemed heads of state (Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkiye, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan), we are working on modernizing, training and equipping the Azerbaijani Army," Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said, Report informs.

According to him, the Zangazur corridor and the railways and roads passing through it are of exceptional value for the region's economy, social life and security.

"It is imperative that Armenia hold the hands of friendship extended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. There is no point in daydreaming while under the influence of others. Let's look at the facts, conclude an agreement on reasonable terms, ensure peace and stability, and live comfortably and peacefully. We want Armenia to use this opportunity" Hulusi Akar stressed.
