Hulusi Akar: Ukrainian, Russian leaders may meet on Erdogan's initiative

"Although there are problems with the situation in Ukraine, we are hopeful," Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said, Report informs.

"In the coming days, the leaders of Ukraine and Russia may meet on the initiative of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Turkey is doing its part to ensure that the humanitarian situation does not deteriorate further and to mediate a ceasefire as soon as possible," he said.
